2.0 - Getting started
==============================================================================

2.1 - Installing
Update: The map editor Shai-Hulud allows you to install multiple maps and is
more reliable compared to the older method mentioned below. You can
find it at - http://sh2k.dune2k.com/
The name of the maps can be found in the maplist.med file.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To install the Megapack run "install.bat". You'll need to select your Dune
2000 Directory. Once the installation is complete you may just use the maps
like every other multiplayer map in Dune 2000. All the maps from the Megapack
have (M) in the end of their name.
Note that all player invloved in the game must have the Megapack installed on
their copy of Dune 2000.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2.2 - Map types
The Megapack has all kinds of maps and is categorized a bit different then
Westwood's maps, here's a simple legend:
 * Size: Sizes in the Megapack are related only to the map size and not to the
   recommended number of players (Like in the original maps). Sizes are
   exactly like the ones at the original maps with the exception of a new size
   XS - Extra Small, those maps are 48x48 or less squares.
 * No. of players: You can place how much players you want in any map, but you
   should listen to the recommended no. of players, some maps can't be played
   with only 2-3 players, not without annoying the players atleast.
 * Play Style: Most maps are normal FFA maps which could be played anyway you
   want, these maps have nothing written about their play style. Other maps
   include Teamfight style maps, these maps fit to 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3 games,
   avoid playing them in 3 players FFA, and stay in the recommended No. of
   players. Another play style is All against one maps, in these maps you play
   2v1, 3v1, 4v1 or even 5v1. The teams are random. The single player is the
   one that starts at the top of the map, he obviously gets advantages over
   other players. Note that the more starting credits and unit the harder
   it'll be to that player.

2.3 - Uninstalling
If you wish to uninstall the Megapack run "megapack.bat" and select Uninstall.

=============================================================================
3.0 - In the future
==============================================================================

3.1 - Volume two
Currently there isn't another volume of maps in production, and I doubt one
will appear, but I'll love to see someone else make a map pack.

3.2 - Other stuff
You can keep tracking my work as I'll be going onto Tiberian Sun soon and
making all kinds of stuff over there.

One last thing, very big special thanks to DayOfWar for the installer, to
obtain a useable version of this program goto:
